Typography
This font was chosen due to its clean and simple shape; with an app centered around varying typefaces, it is necessary to have a basic and non-descript font as the base typeface.

The Kerning app is available in multiple preset duo chrome color schemes, but comes in a yellow and green color scheme by default. Other color schemes can be seen in the Figma slides shown in the next section below.

Logo Design
The logo design for Kerning is a typographic logo, which was an obvious choice since the app itself is based on typography. The logo consists of two parts, both of which use the same typeface with different sizing and weights.
